Santa ... we are ready!

The Christmas tree is up! Santa Claus ... we are ready for your visit!
I was so excited to have the kids decorate the tree ....
Anna was great at takin' the ornaments out of the box ... and handing them to me! I think she hung one! Ian made it through half the box ... then came the famous words ..."Mom, can I be done?" At least we had a little quality time together.
And ... Mom finally finished adding all the touches to the Christmas tree. Although I think it still seems to be missing something ... Merry Christmas!!!

Tuesday Night - Family Night

Last Night was our family night ... and Ian does not forget. I find it funny that in just a few short weeks something so simple can become so important. And he starts every Tuesday morning announcing, "Mom! It's Tuesday ... you know what that means!"

So here are my angels painting ornaments for the Christmas tree. Their smiles make my heart melt and their enthusiasm gives me strength. Ian is already counting down for next week.

I wish they'd stay little ... just a little longer!

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ian and Anna spent the Thanksgiving holiday in St. George with their dad, aunts, uncles, cousins and Grandma Clark. They had an amazing time and they are still talking about it.

I decided to make a Turkey dinner on Sunday to have our own mini-holiday celebration ... and my two amazingly beautiful step-daughters joined us.

So what I thought would be a dinner for 3 turned into a feast for 8! It was perfect! I love all of them so much and have been missing them like crazy ... I am thrilled that we are 'still' family!

Check out my sweet Anna ... and my two beautiful, perfect grand kids! Yes ... I am still Nana!! I truly have a lot to be thankful for!
