"Other things may change us, but we start and end with family"

I Believe

I believe in Karma … a kind act, letting a car in during rush hour, what kindness you show today will come back to you two-fold tomorrow.

I believe in love … even though I may not understand why it is so difficult to find and even harder to hold.

I believe you can not love or be loved ~ unless you love yourself.

I believe in Santa Claus ~ and all his magic.

I believe in God and in life after death.

I believe in Family ~ it’s strength, it’s love, it is where our story begins.

I believe in honesty … say what you feel, tell it how it is … those who care don’t matter and those who matter won’t care.

I believe you should kiss your loved ones goodbye … every time you leave.

I believe in forgiveness … the hard part is admitting when you are wrong … so when someone does you should forgive them … let it go. Life is too short for animosity.

I believe in my children … the people that they are and the people that they will become.

And I believe in myself … the woman I have become and the woman I continue to learn to be. Each day is a gift and I intend to cherish every moment.

Hope

HOPE ~ is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.

As life unfolds before me, each new day filled with unknown events … the mystery of what is to be … I wonder what destiny has in store for me. There are many days my heart it lifted by the smile of my children, the sound of their laughter, and the warmth of their hugs.

And yet there are some days that present obstacles that make me question my decisions, my strength, my faith. Do not misunderstand, I am an optimistic person. But there are days that the clouds can be so dark and grey that it is easy to overlook the silver lining.

So here I sit, exhausted from a sleepness night, taking care of a sick child, feeling completely alone and somehow still finding it within myself to have faith and hope. Faith that my little ‘belle’ will be well soon, hope that good things ‘do’ come to those who wait. Hope for tomorrow and Faith in myself.

Jodee Messina says it best …

“Another day has almost come and gone
Cant imagine what else could wrong
Sometimes Id like to hide away somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost but not the war

Cause tomorrows another day
And Im thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain”
